Website updated - Tech week #4

Week #4:

I am continuing to learn more and more about how to use CSS and HTML. I have done a little more on my website and have done some work on the design of how I would like my website to look. Next week I plan on improving my website and continuing to make it the best.

<p>Basketball is a worldwide sport played by many people. This section of the website will be for those who are brand knew to the sport and want to know more about it.</p>

<p> Basketball is a sport played by more that 250 million people around the world. According to the Worldatlas.com it is the 7th most popular sport in the world with more than 800 million followers of the sport. The game is made up of two teams going against each other with the objective to successfully shoot a basketball into a hoop located 10 feet off the ground. The teams consist of 5 players on each team on the court, each player having their own positions.

Week #2:

Today I started working on familiarising myself with using HTML and CSS and implementing it into my code. I have started to form my website and I have learned how to put pictures in my code.

This is how my code looks so far. This is only a snippet of my code so far:

This snippet of code is used to put the picture on the website and the wording over top of it.

Hi everyone, my name is Joel and I am a year 11 student from Gisborne Boys High School. I am making a website based around basketball and the fundamentals of the sport. This website is for those who are new to basketball and want to learn more about the sport. Hopefully this website will intrigue those wanting to get started playing basketball and just want to know the base of the sport. I am expecting to have this done hopefully before the end of this term and be more familiar with HTML and CSS by the end of this week. Here is a link to my proposal.
